Doris Goodemote

While in High School, Mom was to be in her cousin Elizabeth Powell's wedding, but came down with whooping cough. Another of her cousins, Loretta Laney, stood in for her, but gave Mom the dress afterward. Auntie Donna Linsler Reed was Matron of Honor. She, and husband "Bucky" came up to NY for the wedding from Washington DC. Bucky and Great Grandma Linsler stayed home with Mom during the ceremony.
